There is a lot to rejoice about right now, turning the corner on COVID #s and with Spring around the corner…and yet there is a lot to feel uncertain about. The being in the desert kind of uncertain.
But what if this time isn’t about getting out of the desert?
What if we are called to dwell in our doubts, fears, anxieties, and uncertainty?
What if we are meant to stand in solidarity with those trapped in their own wilderness? Like the people in Ukraine?
Pastor John takes a look at the uncertainty we are feeling and what we can learn from Jesus’ temptation in the wilderness (Luke 4:1-13). We have a chance to show resolve, sacrifice, resilience and humanity, just as Jesus did and just as the Ukrainian people are showing to the world.
