Join us for our 4th Annual MUSIC IN THE GROVE concert on September 3, 2018!
A Brentwood end-of-summer tradition, Music in the Grove returns for the fourth time this year with a free concert and family festival at East Brentwood Presbyterian Church. EBPC is conveniently located at the corner of Concord Road and Wilson Pike at 9000 Concord Rd. Free parking is available onsite.
Families are invited to bring blankets or chairs and a picnic lunch to enjoy a variety of talented musicians and entertainers from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 3, with music beginning at 2:30. Family-friendly activities including a musical petting zoo by Sky Studios and a Family Fun Zone will add to the fun.
Headlining the event is Route 40, a sonically progressive, bluegrass fusion band, hailing from Nashville. Joining Route 40 is multi-genre pianist Nate Strasser and his band who play everything from the blues, jazz, movie scores and more. The Next Door Boys are a five-piece band made of local Brentwood students whose musical talents are quite phenomenal.
The tree-filled, shaded grounds of the church include a large fenced-in playground and restrooms which will be available to all concertgoers. Guests are encouraged to bring only one car per family. Hammocks and picnic baskets are welcomed.
